Leaf colour
I wasn't sure which green would work best for the leaves, so I cut them out in 2 colours, and laid them both out for comparison. I'll save the unused leaves for another quilt.

Have you considered using a few different colors to create some depth?

ReplyDeleteI agree the top looks better but not sure why. Maybe the color is warmer and looks better with the warmer colored brown of the trunk and branches.
