And here are the different blocks I've made for the Goddess' raffle quilt. I ended up with colours which reminded me of wine, port, coffee and chocolate (two of the prints are even coffee steam!) and I think of these as an indulgence after dinner. So this quilt has its name already! I'll be putting them together tonight since, astoundingly, James and Eleanor were both asleep by 8.15!
We've been trying to bring back James' bedtime from about 9pm now I'm back at work and he has to get up earlier, too. The end of daylight saving helped in that regard. And Eleanor is just pooped after a day at childcare. She's doing really well there; happy, sleeping well and drinking plenty of milk - even if they do have to squirt it into her with a medicine syringe!

What beautiful fabrics Emma. Where did you get them from?
Oh, all over the place! The burgundy/gold marble, the spots and the pinky print came from eQuilter.com . The red sprigs on cream came from Quilts & Threads in Dernancourt (which seemed to have closed down when we drove past last night?) The cream coffee swirls probably from Riverlea on Unley Rd. The brown coffee swirls were from karensquiltshop.com . And the burgundy prismaglass (hand-dye look) was from cottonclub.com . And I browse and use plenty of other onlie stores as well. I find most of them searching for fabrics on Quiltshops.com. Hope that helps!
Lovely Emma, the colours are so rich and warm :) I can't wait to see the finished quilt!
Emma wow! Were these foundation pieced? They are stunning. What a great colour combination. I am bookmarking this one for later use!!
Yes, definitely foundation-pieced. It's my not-so-secret for sharp points!
