Table runners

I've been a very slack blogger this week, but I have been busy. I blame much of it on trying to look at all the 579 blogs listed on Amy's Blogger's Quilt Festival. I'm only up to 281!

I finally took some decent photos of the two table runners I made at Easter and posted them to faraway lands.

This one wasn't from scraps, but the whole thing was from my stash. After doing the first one, I decided it would look better with a bit more background at either end, so this one is about 4in longer.

I really like the effect of the swirly quilting on the dark points.

I used a slightly different swirl technique on this one, but didn't find it much better.

I think now I only have 3 more giveaways to make.
