Tonight I sandwiched a customer quilt and made good progress with the quilting. I'd dithered about the design for ages. It's a boy's quilt, so I wanted to avoid anythign girly. It's also pieced in diagonal rows, and I wanted to work with that, but in the end, it's a busy baby quilt, the back (shown) is fairly busy too, and anything too fancy would be wasted. So I opted for simple swirls across most of the quilt.
But to add a bit of interest, I've left one diagonal section without swirls, and will use a different colour to quilt a wavy feather across that section. It's the section which stands out most on the front, and none of the threads which blended with the rest of the quilt worked here, so this is a good solution. Hopefully I'll finish the quilting tomorrow evening. Once it's sent, it will be the fifth quilt to leave my study in a week (the other four being one gift, two to different magazines, and one swap quilt)!

Wow! That is a lot of work done in one week! Love the fabric with cars on the back of your quilt.
Fantastiv. I love to see what you are doing. I think you applique ribbons are wonderful. Is that quilt for yourself?
