Quilting it to death

Here's a peek at the quilt I'm making for the 4th Essential Baby Doll Quilt Swap.

It's coming along nicely, but I'm still not sure it quite meets my expectations. So far it has used more than 2 large bobbins of Bottom-line, and will use at least 2 more - probably 3! I started oversize, with a 3-by-3 layout of 8in 'blocks' plus a potential 1in border, but the blocks have already shrunk to 7 3/4in.

Your quilting is fantastic. This is probably a silly question but that is that the front or the back? Either way that quilt is awesome. I have not heard of the Essential Baby Doll Quilt Swap - I might need to look into it.
